Dear Kinder,
Our names are Mrs. Melnik & Ms. Lyte. We will be your new kindergarten teachers!
We had fun summers! We spent time at the beach, walking our dogs (Mrs. Melnik’s dog is Daisy and Ms. Lyte’s dog is Sandy!) and visiting our families. What do you like to do? Over the summer, Mrs. Melnik went to Chicago and Ms. Lyte went to Albany. What did you do over the summer? When you start kindergarten, we will ask you to tell us about your favorite summer adventure!
You are probably feeling excited and also a bit nervous about starting kindergarten in September. Guess what? We feel the same way! We included a picture of us in this letter so on the first day of school, you will already know what we look like! We can’t wait to meet you on September 5th!
